The 17th Annual Diocese of Corpus Christ - Blue Mass hosted and sponsored by the Corpus Christi area Knights of Columbus will be held at Sacred Heart Church (217 West San Patricio Ave.) in Mathis, TX on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 6:00 PM. Bishop Micheal Mulvey will celebrate Mass, followed by a flag ceremony (VFW), and the "Ring of the Bell" (Mathis VFD). An appreciation dinner and award ceremony will follow in the parish hall, where several public safety employees and first responders will be recognized for their service to their parishes and communities.

The Schoenstatt Marriage Camino invites married and engaged couples to follow the pilgrim pathway of your marriage together through a series of stations in the prayerful setting of the Corpus Christi Botanical Gardens. The fifteen stations provide an opportunity to reflect upon what God is asking of you in your marriage on your particular path through life and to offer encouragement in prayer together as a couple.

Coastal Bend Victims of Hurricane Harvey need of your help. Harvey was the worst hurricane to hit south Texas since Hurricane Celia in 1970. Now more than a year later your neighbors still struggle. Can you or any of your parish organizations donate a day, an afternoon, a morning of volunteering? Deacon Richard Longoria is coordinating volunteers for Harvey victims in the Diocese of Corpus Christi.  He can help you organize your group and get you in touch with relief coordinators working in the “Harvey Zone” of south Texas.
