The St. Joseph Feast will be celebrated on Saturday, March 19 with Mass at 5:30 pm at Corpus Christi Cathedral. After Mass everyone is invited to a special feast of thanksgiving in St. Joseph Hall in commemoration of St. Joseph, Patron Saint of workers and protector of the family. As part of the feast, St. Joseph altars (tables) will be erected containing candles, bread, statues, medals, flowers, and food of the harvest. Parishioners are asked to provide your favorite meatless dish (soup, pastas), bread, desserts or tea. There will also be a collection taken of non-perishable food for the poor.

There is a St. Patrick's Day Irish Festival & Brunch on Sunday, March 13, 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, at St. Pius X Parish Hall, 5620 Gollihar Rd. Tickets: $12 per person. Call the parish office at (361) 993-4053.

Attention Volunteers!! A Food Handlers Class will be held on Thursday, March 10 at 6:00 pm in Room 2 for persons who will be involved in the preparation and/or handling food in any church or community activity.
