At Masses on July 29-30, parishioners will hear about the Diocese of Norwich Outreach to Haiti’s work and commitment to serve the people of Haiti.
The second collection is dedicated to the ministry in Haiti. Funds from this collection will support the thousands of families in the poverty-stricken area of Christ Roi in Port-au-Prince. Your gifrs can help provide education scholarships, medical care, nutrition and feeding programs, support for orphanages, and more.
For more than 30 years, the ministry has been helping Haitians through its many programs, many relationships with twins in both the US and Haiti, and also providing immersion trips for travelers who want to see and experience more of Haiti.
Mike Heinzman has been involved with Haiti for many years and has made several trips to Haiti. He spoke on behalf of the Outreach to Haiti, last year in a Mission Appeak in Fort Worth, and was very well received. (For more information, please visit www.outreachtohaiti.org)
