The annual Texas Rally for Life stands in solidarity with the lives lost in the legal practice of abortion. This year marks the 45th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, a sad event that ushered in an era of abortion on demand.

As Pope Saint John Paul remarked, “A society will be judged on the basis of how it treats its weakest members; and among the most vulnerable are surely the unborn and the dying.” We must keep praying and working to protect the lives of the most vulnerable among us.

The Diocese of Corpus Christi has reserved six buses that will depart  Saturday morning, Jan. 27, 2018, from various locations, including St. John Paul II High School, Incarnate Word Academy, and St. Gertrude Parish in Kingsville.
