You're invited to join us for our Passover Seder Meal on Sunday, April 13 at 2:00 pm in St. Joseph Hall. Side dishes, desserts, and salads may be dropped off to the parish hall on Sunday, April 13 between 9:00 am–1:00 pm. The Seder meal is for Christian families remembering Christ's Jewish Heritage and is a traditional way to comemmorate the Last Supper. The Seder Plate consists of the bone from the roasted leg of lamb, matzos (unleavened bread or crackers), bitter herbs (radishes), harosets (made of apples, nuts, cinnamon, and wine), greens (parsley), and water with salt. Attendees are encouraged to bring one of the following based on the letters of their last names:
Last name beginning with A–G: Side Dish (e.g. casserole, hot vegetable side, etc.)
Last name beginning with H–M: Dessert (e.g. cookies, cupcakes, etc.)
Last name beginning with N–Z: Salad (e.g. pasta salad, green salad, coleslaw, etc.)
Monetary donations are gratefully accepted, as well.
