The Vocation Office is sponsoring an essay contest in celebration of World Day of Prayer for Vocations. The contest is open to all Catholic students and all students attending a Catholic School in the diocese. The deadline for the essay entry is April 21. The St. Joseph Feast will be celebrated on Saturday, March 19 with Mass at 5:30 pm at Corpus Christi Cathedral. After Mass everyone is invited to a special feast of thanksgiving in St. Joseph Hall in commemoration of St. Joseph, Patron Saint of workers and protector of the family. As part of the feast, St. Joseph altars (tables) will be erected containing candles, bread, statues, medals, flowers, and food of the harvest. Parishioners are asked to provide your favorite meatless dish (soup, pastas), bread, desserts or tea. There will also be a collection taken of non-perishable food for the poor.
